FALL 2010 ESSENTIALS

Fall 2010 essentials

So shearling coats are my latest O B S E S S I O N. The Burberry one (top right) is my favorite one (well duh, Christopher Bailey is so talented, no one could do it better), but the other 3 that I've included are as good. Clockwise from left: Acne, Burberry, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Helmut Lang.

When it comes to footwear, booties are the best solution, and these three pairs are the must-haves of the season. I honestly don't know which one I like the most. Okay I think the Burberry ones are my thing. See, shearling again! It most definitely is my destiny. Clockwise from left: Jeffrey Campbell, Acne, Burberry.

Of course, leopard should not be left out of the picture. Definitely not all mixed together, like in this leopard set, but if you wear one of these pieces - you know what I'm talking about, the Giuseppe Zanotti boots! They're everywhere this season - you can't go wrong. Clockwise from left: Giuseppe Zanotti, Alexander McQueen, Tory Burch, Fendi, Yves Saint Laurent, Lanvin.

Leather is making a comeback the last couple years, so it should not be left out of your closet this fall either. The Rick Owens leather jacket, top right, is one of my biggest loves. Spotted on Freja Beha countless times, the ultimate rock'n'roll model/muse, it has become waaaay too popular. And when it comes to those two amazing pairs of leather pants, they have already become favorites for Kate Moss and Barbara Martello! They sure are as much comfortable as flattering, and I need to get my hands on a pair so badly! Clockwise from left: Rick Owens, Isabel Marant, Alexander Wang, 3.1 Phillip Lim.

Last but definitely not least, the BAG issue. I don't have much to say, since when it comes to bags I'm going insane, and if I start typing I probably won't ever stop. So I think it's better if I keep my mouth shut and let you decide which one you like the most (go for the peekaboo, it's a future classic- even though I'm more of a PS1 fan).
Clockwise from left: Proenza Schouler, Mulberry, Celine, Fendi, Alexander Wang.
