Blue Velvet: rottweiler

Givenchy clutch
available for pre-order at Luisaviaroma

While casually going through Luisaviaroma's latest arrivals I bumped into this large clutch with a rottweiler printed on it. While those who don't follow fashion trends won't understand why on earth would a designer put a barking dog on an overpriced clutch, or even worse, why would someone bother investing a small fortune in a piece like this, those who have seen Riccardo Tisci's previous collections for Givenchy understand. Tisci is a regular at adding unexpected animals to his designs, bringing the most common of accessories- like a black clutch in this case- to the extremes. I mean it wouldn't be a true Givenchy collection without high-fashion edge and boundary-pushing looks anyway.
I believe we'll be seeing plenty of this clutch, as well as other pieces from the collection in the front rows and beyond next season.

You're so right about this one! I also noticed that clutch immediately when I was browsing Luisaviaroma. Then I thought ah well, we saw tigers, sharks, lions.. now dogs)) as for hideous pieces - at times there're plenty of them to see in designer collections))
Thanks for your lovely comment! I'll be loving to follow your blog.
