glowing skin

Protect your skin all year round.

Many people believe that they only need to protect their skin from the sun in hot summer months or whilst they are on holiday, when the reality is that we should in fact take care of our skin all year round and not only when we are on the beach. I did some research on skin damage from the sun and this is what I found.

Sunlight contains ultravioletrays that penetrate into the skin (NHS). Over exposure to these rays can lead to sunburn and cause skin damage, as well as making skin appear aged and in need of extra care.

Even when the weather is cloudy and dull, your skin is still being exposed to UV rays and until the damage is done, it is impossible to feel the rays on your skin, making it vital to use sun protection on your skin every day. Using a daily moisturiser with added SPF such as Johnson’s Face Care Nourishing 24 Hour Day Cream is a great way to protect your skin from the sun, whilst keeping skin feeling soft and moisturised all day long.

Using a daily SPF will help to protect your skin, but it doesn’t mean you have to lose your skins summer glow at the same time. There are plenty of easy ways to maintain healthy, glowing skin all year round without having to put your skin at risk.

Moisturising on a regular basis helps to keep skin feeling soft and supple. Johnson’s 24 Hour Moisture Radiance Body Lotion is enriched with shea and cocoa butters to help keep skin looking and feeling radiant whilst also intensely moisturising and hydrating your skin for all day smoothness .

For an extra glow, using a self tanning moisturiser such as Johnson’s Holiday Skin is the easiest and healthiest way for your skin to maintain a sun kissed look all year long without hitting the beach.
