Bringing back the ultimate shoes from our teenage years and trying to revive them in a 2014 way.

Since the previous season, sneakers have received a major resurrection, having reappeared in all major catwalks, while big sneaker-brands have redesigned and relaunched all their classic models. As I have never been the biggest sneakers person, my adaptation to this trend took longer than normal, and I took baby steps to incorporate any kind of sneaker in my wardrobe.

This was the case with my beloved Vans too. I always had a thing for the brand, sporting all of their designs since middle school; from the herringbone to the authentic to the chekerboard slipons pictured above. And now that the trend has been rejuvenated, the first pair of sneakers that I brought back from the depths of my shoe closet were my Vans.

Hey!

And I thought that this was a post that I wouldn't have to comment...

Well... NO.

I really liked the coat, the pants, the shirt (although I wasn't amazed by it) and the sunglasses! And as I was about to congratulate you, I scroll down and see the shoes... Seriously?! The original Vans?! No my friend... Just no.

You should know that Vans has designed all leather black sneakers that would actually go with the outfit! Here's a link: http://goo.gl/CifyKc

I do realise that these are men's shoes however they would still look better than the one's you chose...

Friendly advice: Better go simple.

Kind Regards,
