Blue Velvet: h&m conscious event

h&m conscious event

Beautifully bohemian, eco-friendly - and a major drool. That's what the latest H&M Conscious collection is all about.

Last night was another one of those extra glamorous nights that H&M gathered us all together to celebrate the launch of it latest Conscious and Conscious Exclusive collections. After having drooved all over Amber Valletta's campaign images and a much anticipated waiting period, the eco-friendly collection was launched in a preview party, where we could all see and shop the entire collection with a 25% off (hooray to that!).

In regards to the collection, my reactions upon seeing it up close prove that it's a lot more than amazing; designed in collaboration with sustainable fashion think tank Ever Manifesto, it is made from high quality materials like organic leather from Sweden and mulberry tree-cultivated silk (they’re getting real specific, y’all). And to not leave it to that, it is loaded with details evoking flamenco and bohemian vibes. Nudes, creams and navy keep the collection fresh for spring, while the over-the-top embroidery and embellishments lend a global market feel.

If you're contemplating getting it, the answer is yes, go for it. If not for anything but the hippie black turban that has already dominated the fashionsphere - and it hasn't even launched yet!
Find it tomorrow in the H&M stores, Ermou 54 in Athens, and from April 12 in Tsimiski 20, Thessaloniki.
